Notice of Appointment of Liquidators and
Notice to Creditors to Claim

Pursuant to Section 255(2)(a) and Liquidation Regulation 12 of the Companies Act 1993 (“Act”)

Iain Bruce Shephard and Jessica Jane Kellow, Licensed Insolvency Practitioners of BDO Wellington (Registration Numbers: IP71 and IP75), were appointed as joint and several liquidators of the society by resolution passed and ratified by its members on 1 September 2022 at 8.30am.

The liquidation of the society is a result of the government’s reforms of vocational education and the mandated transition of standard setting and qualification development functions of individual Industry Training Organisations to Workforce Development Councils and arranging training functions to Te Pūkenga.

Notice is hereby given that as liquidators of the society, we fix 6 October 2022 as the day on or before which the creditors of the society are to make their claims and to establish any priority their claims may have, under section 312 of the Act (as amended), or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are claimed or, as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.
