Notice of Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2022)

The Board of Drug Free Sport New Zealand has made the Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2022) (“2022 Rules”) under section 16 of the Sports Anti-Doping Act 2006.

The 2022 Rules amend the Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2021) and incorporate existing and revised World Anti-Doping Agency International Standards.

The 2022 Rules incorporate by reference the following World Anti-Doping Agency International Standards:

  1. World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard 2022 Prohibited List, effective 1 January 2022.
  2. World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions, effective 1 January 2021.
  3. World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Testing and Investigations, effective 1 January 2021.
  4. World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Laboratories, effective 1 January 2021.
  5. World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for the Protection of Privacy and Personal Information, effective 1 January 2021.
  6. World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Code Compliance by Signatories, effective 1 January 2021.
  7. World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Results Management, effective 20 May 2021.
  8. World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Education, effective 1 January 2021.

The 2022 Rules and the material incorporated by reference can be inspected free of charge during normal working hours at Drug Free Sport New Zealand, Level 1, Building 2, Central Park Corporate Centre, 666 Great South Road, Auckland.

The Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2022) come into force on 1 January 2022.
