Under section 16(1) the Reserves Act 1977, the Manager, Statutory Land Management, Department of Conservation, classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a scenic reserve under section 19(1)(a) of the Act, under section 52(2) adds the land in the Schedule to the Awahuri Scenic Reserve and further, under section 28(1) appoints the Manawatu District Council to control the land described in the Schedule.
