Notice of Intention to Take Land for the Implementation of the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor Regeneration Plan in Canterbury District
Notice is hereby given, under section 103 of the Greater Christchurch Regeneration Act 2016 (“Act”), that the Minister for Land Information proposes to take the land described in the Schedule to this notice.
The exercise of this power is in accordance with section 11 of that Act.
The land is required for the implementation of the Global Settlement Agreement and the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor Regeneration Plan, and it is intended to use the land for the purposes associated with the Horseshoe Lake Reach Activity Area.
The reasons why the Minister for Land Information considers it necessary to take the land are as follows:
The land located southeast of New Brighton Road, Christchurch, adjoining and passing through 146 and 150 New Brighton Road.
Being an estate in Fee Simple in the land being 7,386 m2 (more or less) and described as Part Rural Section 593 comprised in Deeds Index 7c/s1412.
