Notice of Direction for the Disposition of the Surplus Assets of a Dissolved Incorporated Society

Pursuant to Section 27 of the Incorporated Societies Act 1908 (“Act”)

Take notice that the Registrar of Incorporated Societies (“Registrar”) has, following the application of the Rotorua Cook Islands Society Incorporated (Incorporated Society Number: 1866296) (“society”), under section 27(3) of the Act for surplus assets of the society which was dissolved by the Registrar on 17 June 2004, directs that:

1. being an estate in fee simple in all the land containing 1.0426 hectares more or less being the property situated at 101A Clayton Road, Mangakakahi, Rotorua, comprised in Record of Title SA15A/120 with Cook Islands (NZ) Society Rotorua Branch recorded on the Certificate of Title as the registered owner; and
2. all funds in a Westpac bank account in the name of Cook Island Society account number: 03-1552-0129608-00.

be vested in the Rotorua Cook Islands Society Incorporated (Incorporated Society Number: 1866296).

These directions shall become final on 6 January 2022. No appeal shall lie unless notice thereof is delivered before that date.
