Pursuant to sections 130 and 133 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand gives notice the following fees are payable effective from 1 February 2022.

Commencement

This notice comes into effect on 1 February 2022. From that date, the following notice is revoked: Fees Payable to the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand from 1 February 2020 for the Profession of Anaesthetic Technology Practitioners (New Zealand Gazette, 1 February 2020, Notice No. 2019-gs5857)

All fees charged by the Council are non-refundable.

All fees are in New Zealand dollars and the GST rate is 15%.

Accreditation and Monitoring Fees

The Council does not set a standard fee for carrying out an accreditation review of a New Zealand education provider, training hospital, or examination provider, but will instead issue an itemised invoice for reimbursement of costs associated with the accreditation review. All such invoices are calculated on a cost-recovery basis only.

*An initial APC or RTW APC will be issued up until 31 March.
