Pursuant to section 72 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, John Leggett, terminate the state of local emergency declared at 12.20pm on Sunday 17 July 2021, and extended on 12.20pm on 24 July 2021, for the Marlborough district owing to heavy rainfall and consequential flooding in the district.

The termination of the state of local emergency takes effect from the time and date when this declaration is made.
