Pursuant to section 94B of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Jamie William Cleine, give notice of a local transition period over the Westport Ward of the Buller District owing to the risks to persons as a result of flooding (river) and coastal inundation.

This transition period—

1. comes into force at 1.15pm on Friday 6th August 2021, which is the time and date when the state of emergency declared at 1.15pm on Friday 30 July 2021 for Buller expires:

3. ends at 1.15pm on Friday 3 September 2021, unless extended or terminated earlier.
