Extension of Reporting Timeframes for Persons in Charge of Animals Under the National Animal Identification and Tracing Act 2012 in the Canterbury Civil Defence Emergency Management Group Area
Pursuant to section 34(2)(a) of the National Animal Identification and Tracing Act 2012 (“NAIT Act 2012”), I, Stephen Stuart, acting under delegated authority as Chief Executive of National Animal Identification and Tracing Limited, which is the designated National Animal Identification and Tracing (NAIT) organisation, give notice of alternative time limits to those prescribed by Regulations made under the NAIT Act 2012 for the provision of information by any person in charge of animals (PICA).
The alternative time limits apply only to those PICAs with NAIT animals located within the Canterbury Civil Defence Emergency Management Group area affected by heavy rain and flooding.
