1. Pursuant to clause 10 of Schedule 22 to the Education and Training Act 2020 (“Act”), I hereby split the Combined Board for Geraldine High School (352) and Carew Peel Forest School (3308) and establish the Geraldine High School (352) Board and the Carew Peel Forest School (3308) Board with effect from 5 July 2021.
2. Each Board will operate with a standard constitution under section 119 of the Act.
3. I further specify that the residual employer of the employees of the Combined Board will be the Geraldine High School (352) Board.

Transitional Arrangements

4. The first elections for the Geraldine High School (352) Board and the Carew Peel Forest School (3308) Board will take place on 28 June 2021.

This notice shall take effect on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
