1. Pursuant to clause 46 of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Alert Level Requirements) Order 2021 (“Order”), I, Dr Ashley Bloomfield, Director-General of Health, hereby declare that the following businesses and services are exempt from clause 24(1)(b) of the Order:

1. accommodation services (within the meaning given at clause 4 of the Order) within the Alert Level 3 area.

2. For the avoidance of doubt, this exemption allows accommodation service providers to serve food and/or drink for consumption on site.

3. The exemption will begin at 11.59pm on 16 February 2021 and cease at the revocation of clause 24 of the Order.
