In accordance with section 105A(1)(c) of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, I name the Waikato Regional Transport Committee as a regional transport committee for the purposes of section 105A of the same Act.

Naming the Waikato Regional Transport Committee as a regional transport committee for the purposes of section 105A requires KiwiRail to appoint a member to the committee to represent KiwiRail.

As required by section 105A(5), I consider that naming the Waikato Regional Transport Committee contributes to the purpose of the Land Transport Management Act 2003 to contribute to an effective, efficient, and safe land transport system in the public interest.
