Pursuant to section 51 of the Legislation Act 2012, I give notice of proposed amendments to the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017, to replace references to standards AS 1940:2004 and AS 1940:2004 (5th Edition) (R2006) with references to standard AS 1940:2017.

These standards are available for inspection, at no charge, between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm from Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays) at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment located at 15 Stout Street, Wellington 6011.
