Pursuant to section 256 of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006 (“Act”), notice is hereby given that on 1 December 2020, the New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal ordered, pursuant to section 242(1)(e) of the Act, that Michael Rawiri Taia be suspended from practice as a barrister or as a solicitor, or as both, for a period of nine months commencing 1 December 2020.
