Pursuant to section 19 of the National Animal Identification and Tracing Act 2012, I, Stephen Stuart, acting under delegated authority as Chief Executive of National Animal Identification and Tracing Limited, which is the designated NAIT organisation, give notice of amendment of the NAIT Accreditation of Information Providers Standard and the NAIT Accreditation of Entities Dealing with NAIT Animals Standard.

The amendments specified below are temporary. They take effect on 2 September 2021 and expire 14 calendar days after that date.

NAIT Accreditation of Information Providers Standard:

• Amend clause 5.6 to replace “24 hours” with “five business days”
• Amend clause 5.14 to replace “48 hours” with “five business days”
• Amend clause 5.16 to replace “48 hours” with “five business days”
• Amend clause 5.18 to replace “48 hours” with “five business days”
• Amend clause 5.19 to replace “48 hours” with “five business days”.

NAIT Accreditation of Entities Dealing with NAIT Animals Standard:

• Amend clause 5.7 to replace “24 hours” with “five business days”
• Amend clause 5.15 to replace “48 hours” with “five business days”
• Amend clause 5.17 to replace “48 hours” with “five business days”
• Amend clause 5.19 to replace “48 hours” with “five business days”
• Amend clause 5.20 to replace “48 hours” with “five business days”.
