Pursuant to schedule 7 clause 3 of the Public Service Act 2020, the Deputy Public Service Commissioner has appointed

Ms Penelope Ellen Nelson,

to the position of Director-General of Conservation and Chief Executive, Department of Conservation from 1 November 2021 to 31 October 2026, following acceptance by the Governor-General of New Zealand in Council of the Deputy Public Service Commissioner’s recommendation.
