Notes Relating to the Allocation Tables

1. The 2022 quota year for the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Communities and Dominican Republic is from 1 January 2022 to 31 December 2022. The 2022 quota year for prepared edible fat to Japan is from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023.

2. NSPF cheese is cow’s milk cheese “not specifically provided for” elsewhere in the schedule of the US tariff rate quotas for cheese.

3. Some quantities listed have been rounded up or down to the nearest kilogram.

4. Companies listed with “nil” have applied for export quota in that specific market but do not qualify as their share in that market is less than 20 tonnes of product.

5. Quota licences are subject to the European Communities requirements limiting total butter quota volume in sub-period one of the 2022 quota year for butter. No more than 50 percent of the total quantity for the year may be used in sub-period one (from 1 January to 30 June). However, any quantity not used in sub-period one may be used in sub-period two (1 July to 31 December).

Dated at Wellington this 29th day of August 2021.

Hon DAMIEN O’CONNOR, Minister of Agriculture.
