Under section 11 of the Financial Market Infrastructures Act 2021, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and the Financial Markets Authority on 20 August 2021 entered into a memorandum of understanding setting out how they intend to work together for the purposes of the Act. This new memorandum of understanding has been added as Schedule 3 to the existing Memorandum of Understanding between the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and the Financial Markets Authority.
