Gazette.govt.nzIn accordance with section 10B(2) of the Trade (Anti-dumping and Countervailing Duties) Act 1988 (“Act”), and acting under delegated authority from the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, I give notice that I have started investigation step 1 of the alleged dumping of the goods described in the Schedule of this notice (“subject goods”).
Investigation step 1 was started in accordance with section 10A(1) and 10B(1) of the Act following consideration of a properly documented application made by New Zealand Steel Limited, the New Zealand industry producing certain aluminium-zinc coated steel, which provided sufficient evidence justifying the need for an investigation.
Investigation step 1 started on 8 June 2021.

Flat rolled iron and steel products (whether or not containing alloys), plated or coated with principally aluminium-zinc alloys (but the plating or coating may contain other alloys), not painted, and whether or not including resin coating or other surface treatment.
