Appointment of a Committee

Under section 9 of the Reserves Act 1977 (“Act”), I, Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall, Acting Minister of Conservation, hereby appoint the following:

Lisa Martin

To be a member of the Molesworth Steering Committee, which is an Advisory Committee for the purposes of the Act to:

• advise the Minister of Conservation on the biodiversity, recreation and pastoral farming management of Molesworth;
• assist in the preparation of a draft Conservation Management Plan (CMP) for consideration and approval pursuant to section 40B of the Act; and
• advise the Minister of Conservation and Landcorp Farming Limited on any issues arising from the implementation of the terms of the Land Act 1948 lease and the management plan

for those areas of Molesworth Recreation Reserve described in the Schedule.

Term of Appointment

The term of appointment is to 30 June 2022.

All that land declared to be set apart as recreation reserve within New Zealand Gazette, 7 July 2005, No. 105, page 2496, headed ‘Declaring Conservation Land to be a Reserve’ and ‘Reservation of Land’ (New Zealand Gazette, 7 July 2005, No. 105, page 2496).

Revocation of Appointment

I hereby revoke the appointment of Alison Dewes to the Molesworth Steering Committee.
