Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, Peter Bryant Highton, Senior Solicitor, acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Finance and the Secretary to the Treasury, give notice that on or about 17 May 2021, Hon Grant Robertson, Minister of Finance, and Hon Dr Megan Woods, Minister of Housing, gave approval under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, in relation to section 162 of that Act, for Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities to borrow up to NZD$8,300 million from sources other than the New Zealand Treasury (increased from a previous approval to borrow up to NZD$7,100 million as notified in the New Zealand Gazette, 16 January 2020, Notice No. 2020-go165) subject to the terms and conditions in the Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities Borrowing and Derivatives Protocol.
