Under section 198(1) and (3) of the Education and Training Act 2020, I hereby declare that Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Ara Rima, will become a Year 1–10 composite school from 26 July 2021 and cease to be a Year 1–8 primary school on that day. The change will be phased in as follows:

• Year 9 delivery will commence in Term 3, 2021 (26 July 2021)
• Year 10 delivery will commence in Term 1, 2022.
