Pursuant to sub-clause 4.6(1) of Land Transport Rule: Light-vehicle Brakes 2002 (“Rule”), and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, I, Alexander Gordon Currie, Senior Engineer Heavy Vehicles, hereby approve the brake testing device specified in the Schedule to this notice for the purpose of measuring brake performance of light vehicles to establish compliance with the requirements contained in the Rule, the device is also approved where sanctioned in the heavy vehicle brake testing protocol.
