Pursuant to subclause 2.1(1) and 2.1(2) of the Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices 2004 (“Rule”) I, Shayne Harris, Chief Executive from the Manawatū District Council, authorise the installation, operation and maintenance of Traffic Sign Controlled Intersections and Specified Locations within the Manawatū District.

Intersections Controlled by Stop Signs

The intersections described in Schedule 1 are permanently signed in terms of 4.3(1)(a) of the Rule and are controlled by stop signs and marked out in terms of 10.2 of the Rule.

Intersections Controlled by Give Way Signs

The intersections described in Schedule 2 are permanently signed in terms of 4.3(1)(a) of the Rule and are controlled by give way signs and marked out in terms of 10.3 of the Rule.

Intersections Controlled by Roundabouts

The intersections described in Schedule 3 are permanently signed in terms of 4.3(1)(a) of the Rule and are controlled by give way roundabout signs and marked out in terms of 10.4 of the Rule.

Pedestrian Crossings

The locations described in Schedule 4 are permanently signed in terms of 4.3(1)(a) of the Rule and are controlled by pedestrian crossing signs and marked out in terms of 8.2 of the Rule.

One Lane Bridges
