Notice of Appointment of Receiver

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 8 of the Receiverships Act 1993, that on 17 August 2021, Rhys Cain, Licensed Insolvency Practitioner (Registration Number: IP12), was appointed receiver and manager (“receiver”) of a Retentions Fund held by RILEAN CONSTRUCTION (CENTRAL OTAGO) LIMITED (in liquidation) by application of the liquidator of the company. The Retentions Fund was retention monies retained on trust by the company under the Construction Contracts Act 2002 as at the date of liquidation for work undertaken by subcontractors at the Remarkables Residences Development.

All receivers and managers are required to be licensed insolvency practitioners in accordance with the Insolvency Practitioners Regulation Act 2019. More information about the regulation of insolvency practitioners is available from the Registrar.
