Notice of Appointment of Receivers of Specific Assets

Pursuant to Section 8(1)(b) of the Receiverships Act 1993

On 29 March 2021, Emerald Jade Limited, the holder of the specific security deed dated on or about 28 May 2015 appointed Malcolm Russell Moore and David Ian Ruscoe, licensed insolvency practitioners and chartered accountants of Grant Thornton New Zealand Limited, jointly and severally as receivers of 100% of the shares of Emerald Foods Limited.

Receivers are required to be licensed insolvency practitioners. More information about the regulation of insolvency practitioners is available from the Registrar.

Note: The receivership does not extend to the Emerald Foods Limited business, only to the ownership of Emerald Foods Limited. The actual operations of the business are not impacted by the receivership of the shares and continues to be under the control of the management team.
