Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Jonathan Wright, Land Information New Zealand, declares that:

1. pursuant to sections 20 and 50 of the Act and an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land in the First Schedule is acquired for and declared road pursuant to section 114 of the Act and vested in the Hastings District Council;
2. pursuant to sections 20 and 50 of the Act and an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice is acquired for an historic reserve and shall vest in the Hastings District Council subject to Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991

on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
