Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Janine Stocker, Land Information New Zealand:

  1. Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road and shall vest in the Southland District Council.
  2. Pursuant to section 119, declares the land described in Second Schedule to this notice to be taken for severance, and once taken, that:
    1. the land firstly described shall be amalgamated with the land comprised in Record of Title SL5C/723; and
    2. the land secondly described shall be amalgamated with the land comprised in SL5B/1142 subject to Building Act certificate 253432.1.
