Pursuant to section 26R(3) of the Conservation Act 1987, the “Anglers’ Notice for Fish and Game Regions 2019”, New Zealand Gazette, 6 August 2019, Notice No. 2019-gs3142 (called “the Notice”), is amended as follows for the North Canterbury Fish and Game Region, by deleting the respective entries for:

1. “Ashley River – downstream of Ashley Gorge Road to State Highway 1”, and inserting the following:

2. “Avon River and tributaries”, and inserting the following:

3. “Halswell Canal – downstream of Duck Pond Road”, and inserting the following:

4. “Halswell River – downstream of Seabridge Road”, and inserting the following:

5. “Lake Coleridge – 1 Jun-31 Aug”, and inserting the following:

6. “Lake Lyndon – 1 Jun-31 Aug”, and inserting the following:

7. “Lake Pearson – 1 Jun-31 Aug”, and inserting the following:

8. “Rakaia River – downstream of Coleridge Tailrace confluence to State Highway 1”, and inserting the following:

9. “Waimakariri River – downstream of Staircase Stream to State Highway 1” entry, and inserting the following:

Pursuant to section 26R(3) of the Conservation Act 1987 the “Amendment to the Anglers’ Notice for Fish and Game Regions 2019”, New Zealand Gazette, 7 February 2020, (Notice No. 2020-gs503 (called “the Amendment Notice”), is amended by:

1. deleting the “Hurunui River” entry for the North Canterbury Fish and Game Region and inserting the following:

2. deleting the “Waiau River” entry for the North Canterbury Fish and Game Region and inserting the following:

This notice shall come into force on 16 May 2020.
