Acting District Court Judges Appointed
Pursuant to sections 14 and 31 of the District Court Act, Her Excellency the Governor-General is pleased to appoint:
Alisdair Simon Menzies, retiring District Court Judge,
to be an acting District Court Judge and also to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Court under section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011 for a term of two years commencing on 16 June 2021; and
Keith Bruce de Ridder, retiring District Court Judge,
to be an acting District Court Judge and also to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Court under section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011, for a term of two years commencing on 16 March 2021; and
Christopher Norman Tuohy, retiring District Court Judge,
to be an acting District Court Judge and also to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Court under section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011, for a term of two years commencing on 3 March 2021; and
Duncan George Harvey, retiring District Court Judge,
to be an acting District Court Judge and also to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Court under section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011, for a term of two years commencing on 25 May 2021; and
Paul Gerard Mabey, Queen’s Counsel and retiring District Court Judge,
to be an acting District Court Judge and also to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Court under section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011, for a term of two years commencing on 13 July 2021.
