Acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I confirm the dissolution of the Makarika School (2594) Board (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 19 December 2019, Notice No. 2019-go5967), and due to increased risk direct the Secretary for Education to appoint a Commissioner under section 181(1) of the Education and Training Act 2020.

This notice takes effect on the date of publication.
