Notice Under the Social Security Act 2018

This instrument, which came into force on 27 November 2020, amends the Seasonal Work Assistance Programme established and approved on 7 July 2002. The amendment increases the seasonal work assistance payment to $2,149 in a 26-week period. This instrument also increases the maximum weekly amounts of seasonal work assistance payments available in instances where it is not possible to undertake seasonal work due to adverse weather conditions.
The instrument is a disallowable instrument for the purposes of the Legislation Act 2012.
This instrument is administered by the Ministry of Social Development.
