Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, Peter Highton, Senior Solicitor, give notice that, on 20 July 2020, the Honourable Grant Robertson, Minister of Finance and the Honourable Christopher Hipkins, Minister of Health (“Ministers”) gave approval under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, in relation to section 163(1) of that Act, for Canterbury District Health Board to give to the Crown indemnities under section 6(2)(d) of the Health Sector (Transfers) Act 1993 (“Act”) in relation to the transfer under section 5 of the Act from the Crown to the DHB of assets and liabilities set out in the Health Sector (Christchurch Hospital Hagley Facility) Order 2020.
