Invalidation Notice for the Tiniroto School (2705) Board By-election

Pursuant to section 170(5) of the Education and Training Act 2020, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I declare invalid the 20 August 2020 by-election for a parent representative for the Tiniroto School (2705) Board, and require a new election to be held on Wednesday 11 November 2020.

I further declare that the board members holding office on 20 August 2020 remain in office.

As the by-election was triggered by a casual vacancy, the position will remain vacant until the new trustee takes office following the new election.

This notice takes effect on the date of publication.
