I hereby give notice that, under section 9I of the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003 (as inserted by the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Amendment Act 2014), the Responsible Lending Code (“Code”) was amended and issued on 31 August 2020.

The new provision of the Code will extend the term of the addendum to the Responsible Lending Code: COVID-19. It will now expire on 31 March 2021.

The Code is available on the website of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment at https://www.mbie.govt.nz.
