On 19 August 2020, the Director-General of Health granted individual exemptions numbers [1800], [1801], [1802], [1803], [1804], [1805], [1806], [1807], [1808], [1809], [1810], [1811], [3000], [3001], [3002], [3003], [3004], [3005], [3006], [3007], and [3008] to individuals under clause 27 of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Alert Levels 3 and 2) Order 2020 (“Order”).
- The terms of these exemptions are these individuals must travel for the purpose of caring for or supporting a vulnerable person in the applicable location.
- The exemptions in this notice were granted with the following conditions:
- the individuals must travel for the purpose identified;
- the individuals must travel as directly as reasonably possible to care for and/or support the vulnerable persons.
- The exemption commenced at 11.59pm on 18 August 2020 and ceases at expiry of the Order.
2. On 19 August 2020, the Director-General of Health granted individual exemption numbers [5412], [5413], [5414], [5415], [5416], [5417], [5418], [5419], [5421], [5422], [5423], [5424], [5425], [5426], [5427], [5428], [5429], 5430], and [5460] to individuals under clause 27 of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Alert Levels 3 and 2) Order 2020.
- The terms of these exemptions are that the individuals must travel for the purpose of moving from their current place of residence to a new place of residence.
- The exemptions in this notice were granted with the following conditions:
- the individuals must travel for the purpose identified and the individual should travel as directly as reasonably possible to achieve that purpose;
- individuals may not make return journeys without a further exemption.
- The exemption commenced at 11.59pm on 18 August 2020 and ceases at the expiry of the Order.
3. On 19 August 2020, the Director-General of Health granted individual exemption number [10400] to two individuals under clause 27 of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Alert Levels 3 and 2) Order 2020.
- The terms of the exemptions are that the individuals must travel for the purpose of returning to their place of residence.
- The exemptions in this notice were granted with the following conditions:
- the individuals must travel for the purpose identified;
- the individuals should travel as directly as reasonably possible in order to return to their place of residence.
- The exemption commenced at 11.59pm on 18 August 2020 and ceases at the expiry of the Order.
4. On 19 August 2020, the Director-General of Health granted individual exemption numbers [3009], [3010], [3011], [3012], [3013], [3014], [3015], [3016], [3017], [3018], [3019], [3020], [3021], [3022], [5400], [5401], [5402], [5403], [5404], [5405], [5406], [5407], [5408], [5409], [5410], [5411], and [5461] to individuals under clause 27 of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Alert Levels 3 and 2) Order 2020.
- The terms of these exemptions are that the individuals must travel for the purposes of accessing health services, returning home or to the residence of a support person after accessing health services, and/or supporting a person who is accessing health services.
- The exemptions in this notice were granted with the following conditions:
- the individuals accessing health services must have an appointment;
- the individuals must travel for the purpose identified; and
- the individuals should travel as directly as reasonably possible.
- The exemption commenced at 11.59pm on 18 August 2020 and ceases at the expiry of the Order.
5. On 19 August 2020, the Director-General of Health granted individual exemption numbers [4200], [4201], 4202], [4203], [4204], [4205], [4206], [4207], [10401], [10402], [10403], [10404], and [10413] to individuals under clause 27 of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Alert Levels 3 and 2) Order 2020.
- The terms of these exemptions are that the individuals must transit through Auckland.
- The exemptions in this notice were granted with the following conditions:
- the individuals must not exit their vehicle or have in-person contact with any person while inside the Alert Level 3 area;
- the individuals must travel as directly as reasonably possible.
- The exemption commenced at 11.59pm on 18 August 2020 and ceases at the expiry of the Order.
