Pursuant to section 170(3) of the Education and Training Act 2020, and acting with delegated authority from the Minister of Education, I hereby extend the period for calling for nominations and all subsequent actions required by the Education ( Board Elections) Regulations 2000, for the election of student representatives for all schools that require a student representative and which had an election day on or before 18 September 2020 within the area described in the Local Government (Auckland Boundaries) Determination 2010 (New Zealand Gazette, 18 March 2010, No. 31, page 858).

Call for nominations for those elections will now begin by Friday 28 August 2020, and voting for the elections will now close at noon on Friday 25 September 2020.

This notice takes effect the day of publication.
