1. On 15 August 2020, the Director-General of Health granted individual exemptions number [004], [008], [022], [037], [002], [006], [007], [015], [051], [071], [074], [001] and [014] to individuals under clause 27 of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Alert Levels 3 and 2) Order 2020.
- The exemptions commenced at 11.59pm 14 August 2020 and ceases at expiry of the Order.
- The terms of the exemptions [004], [008], [022], [037], [002], [006], [007], [015], [051], [071], [074] and [001] are these persons must travel from their home for the purpose of caring for a vulnerable person in the applicable location.
- The exemptions were granted with the following conditions: the individuals must travel for the purpose identified and the individual should travel as directly as reasonably possible to care for and/or support their relative.
2. On 15 August 2020, the Director-General of Health granted individual exemption number [014] to a group of individuals under clause 27 of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Alert Levels 3 and 2) Order 2020.
- The exemption commenced at 11.59pm 14 August 2020 and ceases at the expiry of this Order.
- The terms of the exemption [014] is that these individuals must travel from their home in Waikato to the relevant address in Auckland for the purpose of performing construction work to ensure access to a property for a vulnerable person.
- The exemptions were granted with the following conditions: the individuals must travel for the purpose of performing construction work and the individuals should travel as directly as reasonably possible to undertake this construction work.
3. On 15 August 2020, the Director-General of Health granted individual exemptions number [040], [045], [047], [085] and [088] to individuals under clause 27 of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Alert Levels 3 and 2) Order 2020.
- The exemptions commenced at 11.59pm 14 August 2020 and ceases at expiry of the Order.
- The terms of the exemptions are as follows:
- exemption [040] is to transit through Auckland to Whangarei and Thames to care for their elderly mother;
- exemption [045] is to travel from Northland to Rotorua, transiting through Auckland;
- exemption [047] is to travel from Auckland to Thames to care for an elderly relative;
- exemption [085] is to return to their principal home or place of residence in Northland; and
- exemption [088] are these persons must travel from their home for the purpose of transiting through Auckland to Rotorua to pick up their child.
- The exemptions were granted with the following conditions: the individuals must travel for the purpose identified and the individual should travel as directly as reasonably possible for the above purposes.
4. On 15 August 2020, the Director-General of Health granted individual exemptions number [030], [009], [027], [046] and [083] to individuals under clause 27 of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Alert Levels 3 and 2) Order 2020.
- The exemptions commenced at 11.59pm 14 August 2020 and ceases at expiry of this Order.
- The terms of the exemptions [030], [009], [027], [046] and [083] are these persons must travel from their home for the purpose of visiting their relative who is gravely ill.
- The exemptions were granted with the following conditions: the individuals must travel for the purpose identified.
