Pursuant to section 102 of the Social Security Act 2018, notice is given of the making of the following instrument by the Minister for Social Development.

This instrument, which comes into effect on 2 November 2020, provides non-recoverable financial assistance to families with children who are staying in Emergency Housing and who have immediate needs arising from living in that accommodation.

The instrument is a disallowable instrument for the purposes of the Legislation Act 2012 and is administered by the Ministry for Social Development.
