Pursuant to section 8(1A)(a) of the Human Rights Act 1993 and section 28(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, The Right Honourable Dame Patsy Reddy, Governor-General of New Zealand has appointed:

Paula Margaret Tesoriero, mnzm, of Wellington,

as the Disability Rights Commissioner for a term of five years commencing on 31 July 2020.
