Pursuant to the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2017, Auckland Transport gives notice that the emergency speed limits in the Schedule below have been set.

1. The details of the emergency speed limits and where they apply are set out in columns A, B, C and D of the table in the Schedule below.
2. The date that each emergency speed limit was set is set out in column E of the table in the Schedule below.
3. Due to the physical distancing requirements associated with COVID-19, Auckland Transport considers these emergency speed limits are necessary because of the risk of danger to vulnerable road users if the existing speed limits remain in force. The emergency speed limits are considered to be safe and appropriate for the roads in these circumstances.
