Pursuant to section 7(5) of the Inquiries Act 2013, and as the appointing Minister for the Inquiry, the Attorney-General amends the final reporting date in the notice titled Establishment of the Government Inquiry into Operation Burnham and Related Matters, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 13 April 2018, Notice No. 2018-go1763 accordingly:

1. The current paragraph under the section titled “Commencement of work and reporting requirements” states:

The Inquiry will commence on Monday 16 April 2018. The Inquiry is to report back on its findings and recommendations to the Attorney-General no later than 29 May 2020.

2. This paragraph will be removed and replaced with:

The Inquiry will commence on Monday 16 April 2018. The Inquiry is to report back on its findings and recommendations to the Attorney-General no later than 17 July 2020.
