Pursuant to section 35 of the Auditor Regulation Act 2011 (“Act”), the Financial Markets Authority on 11 December 2020 decided to revoke the Auditor Regulation Act (Prescribed Minimum Standards and Conditions for Licensed Auditors and Registered Audit Firms) Notice 2012 (New Zealand Gazette, 19 April 2012, No. 44, page 1318), and the Auditor Regulation Act (Prescribed Minimum Standards and Conditions for Licensed Auditors and Registered Audit Firms) Amendment Notice 2015 (New Zealand Gazette, 12 November 2015, Issue No. 123, Notice No. 2015-au6661) (together, the Original Notice); and replace the Original Notice with The Auditor Regulation Act (Prescribed Minimum Standards and Conditions for Licensed Auditors and Registered Audit Firms) Notice 2020.
