Pursuant to Regulation 83 of the Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010, I, Mark Stephen Wogan, acting under delegated authority from the Chief Executive of Worksafe New Zealand, hereby give notice that the low voltage or extra low voltage fittings or appliances listed in the Schedule below are declared high risk articles, with effect from 30 November 2020.

Low Voltage Switches for Circuit, Installation Protective and Connection Devices Type B Residual Current Device As defined in IEC 62423 Edition 2.0 – Type F and type B residual current operated circuit-breakers with and without integral overcurrent protection for household and similar uses. (Section 3.2)
Type F Residual Current Device As defined in IEC 62423 Edition 2.0 – Type F and type B residual current operated circuit-breakers with and without integral overcurrent protection for household and similar uses. (Section 3.3)
