The Commerce Commission (“Commission”) gives notice that it has amended, under Part 4 of the Commerce Act 1986 (“Act”):

• the customised price-quality path (“CPP”) applicable to Powerco Limited (“Powerco”) for the CPP regulatory period 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2023.

The amended CPP is:

• Powerco Limited Electricity Distribution Customised Price-Quality Path Determination 2018 [2018] NZCC 5.

The amendments are set out in:

• Powerco Limited Electricity Distribution Customised Price-Quality Path (Annual Compliance Statement Due Date) Amendment Determination 2020 [2020] NZCC 23.

The Commission has published this non-material amendment to give Powerco more time to provide the Commission with its annual compliance statements.

The amendment extends the due date for Powerco to provide the Commission with its annual compliance statement from within 50 working days of the end of the assessment period to within five months following the end of the assessment periods ending 31 March 2021, 31 March 2022 and 31 March 2023.
