Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, and the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2017, the NZ Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.

Bylaw

1. Title and commencement—This bylaw is the New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2020/6 and will come into force on and from 18 September 2020.

2. Amendments—The New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Bylaw 2010/10* is hereby amended by:

• Amending line 836 in Schedule 1 to read:
  “Line No.: 836
  Region: 11
  SH No.: 1
  Locality: Glenavy
  Section of State Highway: From 120m north of White Street to 240m south of Redcliffe Road.
  Speed Limit (km/h): 70
  Date revoked: 18/9/2020
  Speed Limit Rule: Setting of Speed Limits Rule 2017
  New Zealand Gazette Reference: 21/08/2020, Notice No. 2020-au3624”

• Inserting line 836(1) in Schedule 1 to read:
  “Line No.: 836(1)
  Region: 11

  Section of State Highway: From NZTM2000 1450066, 5025023, approximately 110m north of White Street to NZTM2000 1450108, 5024412, approximately 140m south of McLean Street.
  Speed Limit (km/h): 60

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the bylaw, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This bylaw, which comes into force on and from 18 September 2020, amends the New Zealand Transport Agency (Speed Limits on State Highways) Bylaw 2010/10.
