In accordance with section 161(3) of the Land Transport Act 1998, notification is hereby given of the making of Land Transport Rule: Traffic Control Devices Amendment 2020 (“Rule”).

The objective of the Rule is to allow for the lawful installation on a roadway of markings that are not traffic control devices in particular circumstances. The Rule comes into force on 30 August 2020.
