Notice of Final Determinations to Alter and Assign Official Antarctic Geographic Names

Pursuant to sections 10(1), 25 and 21(2) of the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008, the New Zealand Geographic Board Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa (“Board”) hereby gives notice of altering and assigning Antarctic geographic names as described in the Schedule below.

The Board’s final determinations on these official Antarctic geographic names took effect on 31 January 2019.

A glacier approximately 13.5km long that drains from Rampart Ridge between Bishop Peak and Mount Potter. Flows northwest to the vicinity of Mount Bockheim, into Blankenship Glacier in the Royal Society Range, Victoria Land. Altered from Marchant Glacier.
