Pursuant to sections 14 and 31 of the District Court Act 2016 and section 7 of the Family Court Act 1980, Her Excellency the Governor-General is pleased to appoint:

David Christopher Ruth, retiring District Court Judge

to be an Acting District Court Judge and also to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Court under section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011, for a term of two years commencing on 27 March 2020; and

David Graham Smith, retiring District Court Judge

to be an Acting District Court Judge, and to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Court under section 354(3) of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011, and also to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Court for a term of two years commencing on 21 February 2020.
