Under section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I give notice that on or about 25 September 2019, the Honourable Grant Robertson, Minister of Finance, and the Honourable Dr Megan Woods, Minister of Housing, gave approvals under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, in relation to sections 161 (restrictions on acquisition of financial products), and 163 (restrictions on giving of guarantees and indemnities) of that Act, to Kāinga Ora to acquire any financial product or give any guarantee or indemnity that is required for the ongoing administration of any existing financial assistance product or legacy product that transfers to Kāinga Ora from Housing New Zealand by operation of law on 1 October 2019.
